The structural analysis software RFEM 6 is the basis of a modular software system. The main program RFEM 6 is used to define structures, materials, and loads of planar and spatial structural systems consisting of plates, walls, shells, and members. The program also allows you to create combined structures as well as to model solid and contact elements.
RSTAB 9 is a powerful analysis and design software for 3D beam, frame, or truss structure calculations, reflecting the current state of the art and helping structural engineers meet requirements in modern civil engineering.
Do you often spend too long calculating cross-sections? Dlubal Software and the RSECTION stand-alone program facilitate your work by determining section properties of various cross-sections and performing a subsequent stress analysis.
Do you always know where the wind is blowing from? From the direction of innovation, of course! With RWIND 2, you have a program at your side that uses a digital wind tunnel for the numerical simulation of wind flows. The program simulates these flows around any building geometry and determines the wind loads on the surfaces.
Are you looking for an overview of snow load zones, wind zones, and seismic zones? Then you are in the right place. Use the Geo-Zone Tool to determine quickly and efficiently snow loads, wind speeds, and seismic data according to ASCE 7‑16 and other international standards.
Would you like to try out the capabilities of the Dlubal Software programs? You have the opportunity to do so! The free 90-day full version allows you to thoroughly test all our programs.
The programs RFEM 6 and RSTAB 9 are connected to a personal Dlubal account. This also applies to the viewer or demo mode. To ensure that your partner can create a new account, all they need to do is to enter their email address and password.
After starting the trial or demo version and logging in, your partner can open the model. The usual view functions are available for viewing objects. However, the model cannot be edited, calculated, or saved.
Results can only be viewed in the same program version as the model was saved in!
You can easily apply for a free student license on our website. Please use this link.
After checking your data, we will send access data to your personal Extranet account. You only need your email address and the initial password sent by us. In the next step, log in to your Extranet account and download RFEM 6, RSTAB 9, RSECTION.
We recommend changing the password in the Extranet after the download.
As soon as the download is complete, run the installation by double-clicking the downloaded file and following the instructions of the installation wizard. If the installation has been completed successfully, you will find the corresponding program icon on your desktop.
Run the software by double-clicking the program icon. Now, you will see a login window. The upper drop-down menu says "Licensed Version". After entering your Extranet login data and clicking "Login", the software starts as a licensed student version.

The main versions of the program (for example, RFEM 5.20.xx, 5.21.xx, 5.22.xx, and so on) are always installed in parallel and can be used concurrently. If this is not desired, you can uninstall the previous versions at the end of the installation.
On the other hand, the intermediate updates (RFEM 5.20.x1, 5.20.x2, and so on) are always installed over the previous version.
The projects are imported in the case of any update, of course. Just in case, we recommend saving the personal settings in the configuration manager before uninstalling the old version.
If necessary, the user-defined settings can be imported into the configuration manager after the update.
